There are a couple of small streams flowing through the property which provide water for the wildlife. Highway 41 divides the property and there's an internal road system through much of the property.
The property is very near to Portland Landing and Pine Barren Creek, that are both known for great recreational fishing and home to many bass tournaments on the Alabama River. Camden in approximately 7 miles to the south west and Selma is 25 miles north. The property is easily accessible from Greenville, Montgomery, Birmingham, and Mobile. Roland Cooper State Park is only about 10 miles away if you need a place to park a camper or stay.
